YOUTH INSOLE OVERVIEW

Age Specific

NxtMile Youth Sport Insoles are at the core of sports performance equipment. Athletes practice and play hard, and share the goal of staying in the game. Our insoles are engineered to help athletes keep playing the game THEY love regardless of age.

Youth sports are moving beyond recreation to year round competitive play. Overtraining, coupled with changes associated with maturation can greatly increase the likelihood of aches, pains and injury. Our design provides age and sport appropriate support and comfort targeted toward reducing heel, foot, calf and knee discomfort. An elevated heel reduces the stresses placed on the Achilles tendon and helps minimize symptoms associated with conditions such as Severs Disease. Mid-foot, forefoot and toe position are aligned to help reduce many ofthe stresses caused by playing on a variety of surfaces. Materials are engineered, combined and assembled to match the specific, unique physical demands of each sport and its specialized footwear.

Sport Specific

NxtMile recognizes the differences between sports and the need for specialized equipment that accommodates these unique aspects of skills, movement, and playing surfaces. You wouldn't wear soccer shoes to play basketball. You wear footwear designed for your sport for one reason ... to improve performance. NxtMile Sport Insoles are designed specifically for you and your sport with that same goal in mind. Aligned feet serve to align the body for maximum performance head-to-toe across all sports.

  • Reduce or eliminate existing heel, foot, shin, or knee pain.
  • Train, practice and play longer without discomfort.
  • Play hard and perform better, start to finish, in competitive or recreational sports.
  • Improve aggressive cuts, jumps, acceleration, stops.
  • Reduce recovery time after a hard workout.

Design Philosophy

NxtMile's design philosophy embraces the uniqueness of each athlete. No two move exactly the same. No two have exactly the same the body. Young feet are structured very different than adult feet. We all start out with relatively flat feet. Our arch height develops through our adolescent years. As we age our arches begin to fall and our feet lose flexibility. Each sport places stress on the body, especially on the lower extremities including the lower back and hips.

Biomechanics

Everything begins with your feet. The alignment and function of your ankles, knees, hips, etc. depend upon the health and alignment of the feet. For young athletes it is important to protect maturing joints, growth plates, and tissue from the demands of increasingly demanding sport schedules and ever increasing competitiveness. Protecting them now will keep them in the game later.

Technology

Tuned Biomechanical Engineering
Material densities and functional components are tuned to the unique demands of each sport and to the age of the athlete to effectively manage the impact of each foot strike.
