August 2009 - NxtMile and i-generator partner to design sport specific insoles

i-generator and NxtMile have completed the design of a series of specific insoles for adult and youth athletes. NxtMile Sport Insoles are designed to match the geometry and performance characteristics of a variety of cleated turf and court footwear. Insole models have been tailored to soccer, baseball/softball, basketball, football and lacrosse. Each of these sports requires specialized footwear tailored to playing surfaces and aggressive athletic movements. Nxtmile insoles improve upon the design of athletic footwear to provide more appropriate stability, cushioning and energy return to the athlete. In addition, the youth version of the insoles provide age appropriate support and foot positioning to help alleviate pain and fatigue related to physical maturation, such as Severs disease, and over-training.
